In a community health initiative for the residents of Baganga, Davao Oriental, Sunberry Homes Inc. President and CEO, Beverly Dayanan, has stepped forward as a key supporter of the municipality’s free medical operation initiative. The program, spearheaded by Mayor Ronald “Pepot” Lara and Chief of Hospital Dr. Zoren Reyes, provides life-changing surgeries for residents with health conditions such as cleft lip and cleft palate, bent limbs, hernias, and more.
Dayanan has partnered with Baganga’s local government to ensure that this initiative reaches as many residents as possible. Her support adds significant strength to the program, which aims to address medical conditions that would otherwise cost families ₱400,000 to ₱600,000 if performed at the hospital.

“Helping communities thrive is at the core of what we do at Sunberry Homes. Supporting Baganga’s efforts to provide free medical care aligns with our mission to uplift lives and bring hope to those in need.”
As part of the initiative, Mayor Lara has pledged additional assistance by covering transportation costs for patients traveling to hospitals in Davao or Cebu. With Dayanan’s backing and the involvement of other partner organizations, the program is now equipped to deliver even greater impact.
The project will be implemented across the municipality through coordinated efforts with Barangay Health Workers and Purok Leaders. This ensures that no Baganguen̈o in need of these life-changing medical interventions is left behind.
This collaboration highlights the power of public-private partnerships in transforming communities. It also reflects Sunberry Homes’ dedication to building not just houses but better lives for Filipinos.
