Balamban, Cebu – Sunberry Homes, Inc. takes a positive stance on Empowering Mothers’
Health by supporting the Rotary Club of Cebu Gloria Maris (RCCGM)’s “Buntis Congress”.
The Buntis Congress held on July 31, 2023 at the Rural Health Unit in Balamban gave free ultrasound to 50 pregnant women. 60 mothers also received complimentary pap smear screenings. Apart from these, they accepted free Malasakit IDs from RCCGM’s partner, St. Anthony Mother and Child Hospital (SAMCH).
RCCGM, led by President Gay Marie Tiu, brought in a medical team of 18 doctors from the prestigious SAMCH in Cebu City. They provided comprehensive care, health checkup, and nutrition talks aside from the pap smear and ultrasound.
The Buntis conference marked the expansion of RCCGM’s flagship project, “Amoma Sa Kaugmaon”
to ensure balanced nutrition for children. The expansion of the project emphasized the importance of maternal health.
“We are delighted to have supported the RCCGM Buntis Congress held in Balamban. Our commitment to cultivating healthy communities goes beyond our real estate efforts.
